Their portfolio contains numerous photographic projects for international companies, several corporate books and commercial videos. Their works were published in Forbes, Newsweek, Esquire, Elle, Vogue Russia, Conde Nast Traveller, and Phaidon Press.
Known for their innovative approach, Koldunova+Klyosov frequently experiment with various photographic techniques on various materials, including gold, silver and platinum, and hand-made archival cotton papers. They often use ultra large format films in their artistic projects, combining analogue and digital technique to create a particular expression that has the mood of film photography and the highest quality of digital technology. All photographs are printed in limited editions, in which each print is a hand-made “piece unique”. Each of them is the result of meticulous manual work, whether analogue photography and particular printing technique or complex digital image manipulations.
Both artists have cultivated their creative partnership for the past two decades. Together, they have left an indelible mark on the artistic landscape, collaborating with prominent companies and achieving international recognition.
